Treated by: Dr Gertrude Huss |
The dramatic overall improvement to my appearance has given me a huge boost to my confidence and self esteem.
I suffer from Parry-Romberg syndrome which is a rare, incurable craniofacial disorder which in my case is characterized by the slow wasting of the facial muscles on one half of my face which gives me a lop sided look. Over the years I have become more self conscious. Previously to meeting with Dr Huss I had tried to restore volume to my face by having a fat transfer procedure which was unsuccessful and disappointing.
During my consultation with Dr Huss she advised me to try a combination of Restylane treatments in order to correct my facial asymmetry.
The treatment consisted of several appointments over a period of weeks at the Hill Street Clinic where she took immense effort to artistically correct the wasted areas and sculpt the contours of my face to balance with my other side.
In conclusion I wish to say that the dramatic overall improvement to my appearance has given me a huge boost to my confidence and self esteem, and gone is the person who felt the need to hide behind her hair.
