Eyelash hair, just like any other body hair, is subject to natural shedding and a renewal process of new hair growth.
At the Hill Street Clinic we offer both prescriptive and non-prescriptive eyelash serums which encourages eyelashes to grow so that they are less likely to fall out.
The eyelash enhancing serum is applied to the upper lashes resulting in stronger, thicker, longer and darker lashes.
Results can be seen anywhere between 4 and 12 weeks, which will remain whilst continuing to use the product.

How is the eyelash growth serum different from other eyelash conditioners sold over-the-counter?
Eyelash treatments sold over-the-counter in drug stores or at cosmetic counters are not prescription-grade and do not contain the active ingredient that grows the eyelash. Over-the-counter eyelash treatments are conditioning treatments that temporarily improve the condition (and appearance) of the eyelash; they do not grow new eyelashes.
Are there any side effects from the eyelash growth serum?
The most common side effects are eye itching and eye redness. Other less common side effects may occur in a small percentage of users.
Are the results from the eyelash growth serum permanent?
No, to maintain the effect of longer, thicker lashes continued treatment is required. Once the eyelash serum treatment is discontinued, eyelashes will gradually return to the original appearance over a period of weeks to months (average eyelash hair cycle).
